Check important documents

Before submitting a processed file anywhere important — a job application, a legal filing, a print shop, a government portal — please open the output and verify that it looks correct. Merging, splitting, compression and format conversion can occasionally alter layout, fonts, image quality or metadata, particularly with unusual or damaged source files.

Compression results vary

Our Compress PDF tool performs best-effort optimization inside your browser. Typical savings are modest (often 5–25%), and some files cannot be reduced at all. The tool page itself explains these limits honestly — please read them before relying on a specific file size.

Your files, your responsibility

Because all processing happens on your own device, you are responsible for keeping backups of original files before processing, and for ensuring you have the legal right to modify and share the files you process (for example, respecting copyright and confidentiality obligations).
